New library system
Starting this semester, you'll be searching our collection differently than you're used to.
Libraries are set to implement the new Alma/Primo system, which, starting August 19, 2026, will unify the management of both physical and electronic collections and reader accounts; the transition will be accompanied by temporary service restrictions, so we recommend borrowing books in advance; loans due during the downtime will be automatically renewed until October 5. Active reader accounts will be transferred without the need for re-registration, and new registrations will be processed through IS MU.
The new system will provide an overview of loans and the option to reserve or renew items, but it will not transfer loan history or saved items; these can be temporarily accessed elsewhere. The E-prezenčka service will remain virtually uninterrupted, although it will be temporarily available at an alternate address, and access to electronic resources will not be affected by the migration.
