Journals and newspapers

Science and popular science journals and daily newspapers can be found on the third floor of the library. We lend magazines in two modes - in-house or monthly, as well as books. Magazines you can lend home are marked with a green circle on the shelves, while the in-house ones are marked with a red circle.

How do I find out which magazines are available in the library?

If you are looking for a specific journal, type its name into the search box in the library catalogue.

If you want to see all the journals in the library's collection, do the following: Switch to Advanced Search in the library catalogue.

Select Serial as the document type, select Faculty of Education from the Library menu.
Clicking the Search button will list all available journals. Clicking on the units of the selected journal will display a list of individual issues available in the library.

How do I access back issues of magazines that are not on the shelf?

Older editions of the magazines are placed in storage. You need to ask the librarian at the lending desk
for delivery. We lend these magazines only in in-house mode.
